Happy accident that I stumbled upon this 'Free Tibet' rally in Westlake Center on a sunny (but windy & cold) day. It was to be followed by a rally supporting the Wisconsin public employees but these folks held the square for the time being.

Another in my series of creative people, following the portraits of Drew Arce, 'Cakespy' Jessie Oleson, and the Recess Monkeys. This is Maria Velez and Melissa Serdy, two ladies I love a lot -- two of my favorite people in fact! Maria does a lot of wonderful iPhone camera phone pictures and will be participating in June's Vera Project art show I'm involved with. Melissa is a schooled graphic designer but works as an amazing photo editor. And, as you can tell, they have great style!
