Yes, I agree that mannequin heads and wig shops are played out themes in photography. But, check out that guy in the middle here ... what's up with that look on his face? Is he aware of the played out-ness of my taking his photo? Creepy real....

I always get a little flustered around people I admire, particularly other photographers and artists. This was the case when I went to photograph Chris Bennion, a photographer here in Seattle whose work and name I had seen for years but I never had the pleasure of meeting him. I just have to say -- Mr. Bennion was a joy to work with, not to mention quite possibly one of the nicest gentlemen I have ever met!
