I remember meeting photographer Magda Biernat, the wife of friend Ian Webster, and she sat down and showed me a bunch of images she had shot while on an American road trip with Ian. This was many years ago and those images still stick in my brain – there’s an image of casino lights reflected in a shiny black limousine that sticks out in particular – but it’s her work from another trip, this time a year’s journey around the globe, that is truly amazing.
